Okay, this might be common knowledge, but it was new to me. I bought my wood burner at Wal-Mart and I have just been using the tip that was on it. Today I was trying once again to make another bunny and I saw the other tips that came with it. I took the "flathead" looking one off and put on the "shovel" looking one. IT WORKED SO MUCH BETTER. Just thought I would pass this on!

Thank you for the info, I will have to try that out . I have been using the universal tip even though it came with 10 tips.

I finally broke down and bought a wood burner the other day at wal-mart. I have no clue what-so-ever on what i'm doing lol. This is probably going to be a silly question but.......what do you lay your ribbon on so it wont burn a hole through anything???? I am very new to this "ribbon art" so on my table along with my ribbon, and woodburner, I have a box of bandaids, and ointment because I KNOW there will be burns involved.

Wish me luck and hopefully I can create something without too many serious injuries lol.

I bought glass from the hardware store. Traced the lines on the back of the glass like a ruler and also made it look like a grid for bigger projects. I then spraypainted it white so I could see the lines.
