Hey ladies, I found a glue from Office Depot that is like one of those white out things that don't really work. But this is double sided and you can run it down the fabric and put on the clip. I know its not washable, so I don't know how it would hold up with anything else. Here is one of my first clips that I used it on and so far it has held up!

I have pulled at it a good few times, it doesn't come off unless you are actually sitting there peeling off there pulling it back. I have had it on my name badge that dangles for the past few days that has hit everything that is in site due to my prego belly and it has stayed intact. Seems like the bow that i hot glued on there is about to come off though.

don't mean to be the spoil sport; however, I am an avid scrapbooker as well as now the bow thing, so I decided to try exactly what you are talking about. I did this about 2 months ago.. Within a couple of days, (these bows were also on bowcards and never worn) the ribbon was beginning to peel away from the clip...UGH!!! I said a few choice "golf" words that day!!

I wonder if you can use that double sided carpet tape. I think it is orange and I've heard that it sticks really well. I might have to check into it because I hate gluing the ribbon on to cover the clips. It's just too messy for me.

I found some info about that tape on HGTV.com This is what they said:

The Red Liner tape goes by several names including Wonder Tape and Star Line. It is a double-sided tape that comes in rolls but is also sold by the sheet. It's distinctive quality is its industrial strength adhesive. It's distinctive rosy color makes it easily recognizable.

They had a source for the tape: Craftware :: Tapes I think I will buy some and test it out.
