I made one yesterday after a trip to Micheals. They had a small wooden "sign" that is about 12 inches long and 3-4 inches tall. So far I've put the flat wood strips on it to hold 6 ribbons and LOVE it! I use my NBNG template to cut my ribbon to the correct length, seal the ends, slip them into the liner helper, hot glue, clip, hot clip all the way down, then hot glue on the top and put the ribbon on that glue all the way down, turn it over glue and finish off the clip. I can do 6 clips start to finish in a few minutes! YAY!!

what do you think about using this?
you can glue the lines on if you want guides. you don't have to glue on the spools because it is already lifted with the folded part.....

I wanted to add ladies that glue that you have to be careful not to glue your clips to the board LOL. Thank God for trial and error right? That way once i get my gross of clips i'll know exactly what to do. I can see how this method would be absolutely perfect for the tape method though and my plan is to only use glue for my glitter cilppies and tape for everything else.

3 nice things about picture frames:
1 - cheap 2 - you can get 8X10 size (lots of room to make a bunch at a time) 3 - you don't need to add stuff to them will try it out soon. also - do you really need the guides on the underside? just curious how they impacts your clips.....

I used a wooden piece of wood from Micheals and two small flat dowels. I cut the dowel and glued to the piece of wood to make 13 slots on the top and then marked on the dowels where the end of the alligator clip was. I can "load" the 13 ribbons into the slots, place glue, clip, glue, fold over, repeat all the way down, then turn over and finish them off. It works great with glue and I don't have anything on the bottom of my wood as I just hold it in my hand and then turn it over
