Great idea, but I just wanted to mention that I have heard (not sure if this is true!) that dryer sheets can be toxic.
I really need to try some fabric covered buttons and some bottle caps, I bought all the stuff a while ago and just have not gotten around to it! Krista |

The cotton batting works wonders and is cpsia compliant. If you buy it on sale it is really cheap and last a really long time. You can get hundreds upon hundreds out of it since you use such a small piece.

Both are great ideas...and I love the extra little tips on what else to do with the dryer sheets....I swear my DH is going to think I'm NUTS dusting with a used dryer sheet LOL

Yeah I tend to forget all the CPSIA stuff since I only make stuff for my 6yo dd and not for resale. So....for anyone who makes these & resells, makes sure you don't use the dryer sheets since they are not compliant! Sounds like the cotton batting is a good bet!!
Thanks for the tips & info ladies!!!
