Default Just something I discovered for gluing center knots

I put the hot glue in the center of the bow and then let it cool a few seconds before I put the center knot on it, then the glue doesnt squish out to the sides of the center knot....

Then something else I do is wait until the glue is completely cool under the center knot before I glue it around to the back so that my knot stays nice and high and perky!!

Just a little idea....makes them look a bit cleaner

Ooooh, thank you for the great tips! I have had problems especially with the middle "sagging" after I wrap around to the back. I'll have to try this out! TFS!!!

Great idea This will save me from having to have the tweezers handy to clean up the excess glue!

i always add a dot of glue to my center knot and then place it on the bow that way i don't have to worry about getting glue on the bow when trying to put a dot in the center, i always wait until t completely cools before i tie it around, that does help from mashing it!!!!

Oh yeah, I wouldnt be able to handle the knot with the glue on the bottom. lol

I dont have problems getting the glue on the bow from putting the dot of glue, I just hold the bow over my hand and fold back the layers of the bow to expose the center. The trouble I had was when I put the knot on, it squishes out the side under the knot.

my question is why so much glue in the first place? if you glue your center knot all you need is a smear of glue from the glue gun not a whole drop... all you want to do is hold it in place if you use enough glue it squishes you used too much
