Default Ask an expert?? Any takers??

So, after reading the threads lately about all the newbie's and their never-ending questions (guilty as charged LOL), I had a brain storm. What about an expert offering a live chat thread once a week devoted to a certain topic? The topic could be pinwheel bows and newbies interested could post their pics and get honest feedback on how to make them better. Experts need not give away their trade secrets, but just give those interested the honest feedback that they "the newbie" may not even know to look for...i.e. backwards bows, etc. Does anybody think this is something we could do? I already know I'm crazy, so it won't hurt my feelings if you agree with me.

I think that sounds like a good idea. I have no expertise though. I'm one of the students.

I think it sounds like a good idea. But I also think that this type of information is provided when you purchase the instructions from HG.

I think it is a good idea but also people on here just shouldn't be rude about new people asking old questions. I've honestly googled and used the search for certain stuff and just couldn't find it. Just simply direct them to the right link or just answer the question. Or simply say it has been posted before. But no reason in getting rude.

I'd be up for it. We can't do what is already covered in the paid instructions, but other topics might help. For example, a night covering questions on getting websites up, how to get ready for craft shows, etc.

Me too EmileeDesigns..

That happens on any discussion board you're on, pretty much. Even on my cruise board...people come on with newbie questions about cruising..what should I wear to the dining room, etc., and they just get flogged with older members attacking them for asking repeated questions. It makes me sad - and I don't know why they can't just skip over those posts if they don't feel like/want to reply.

Having said that, the original poster's idea would be helpful if anyone was willing to put in the time and then have to be available for the published time slot.
