Here's a link where a lady shows you how to make the switch flops:

Studio 5 Fabulous Flip Flops

Watch all the way to the end of the video and she shows you the "switch flops" and how to make them yourself.

Yes ive tried the Cariris also and I love them! I went to Inbop.com to get them. You know what i just found out from their facebook page, that their milenio style flip flops have been the same price since 2007! That is awesome!

Found this blog and have had these on the to-make list for a while. Decided not to do them for Christmas for the girls but thinking Easter baskets. Also, last time I was at Joann's I found something called FlipFlop Glue. I think that was its name. It was specifically for attaching jewels, ribbon, fabric, etc. to the plastic of flipflops.

Hope this is of some use to someone.

Last summer I made korker switch flops for my 4 year old. I used E6000 to attach a velcro circle to the Y part of the flip flop and another velco circle to the bottom of the korker. It worked pretty well. She wore them to go out to dinner etc...never to play as they would not survive.
