Default Finding Fabric??

I went fabric hunting to make these buttons. I chose a few, but when I tried to make them I didn't like any of the fabrics on the buttons. Where did you find such nice fabric that the designs fit on the buttong so nicely? Yours are beautiful!

Sorry, I meant where is the fabric from, not the buttons. I love how that fabric's design fits so nicely!

The brads pictured already have the fabric and embellishments on them, so I'm assuming the company probably had the fabric custom made especially to use with that product.

It's a brocade, and nice brocades can be rather hard to find with patterns perfect for small buttons. I've looked for fabric for buttons while working on a costume project in the past, and I ended up getting frustrated and going with something else, lol.

BTW, thanks guys. Now I've really blown my supply budget for the week! I left these behind at the store last night only to have to go back this morning and pick them up after reading this thread.

oh, got it now, thanks for clarifying! I was following the set of directions where you cover actual buttons with your own fabric. I need to go see these brads! They sound like the way to go. Thanks again!

Yeah, I went to michaels, unfortunately the one that I went to didn't have these exact brads. They did have some other cute brads though, so I got them. I'm thinking E6000 to attach, not quite sure. Maybe there has been a thread about this. Any suggestions?

Here in texas we have Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, and maybe another one also. They are probably similiar. I'm suprised that just hot glue will hold them. The brads I bought (and maybe they are all like that) have a lip on them. Is this similiar to what you have?
Thanks for the response. I love these covered buttons.
