My daughter is a cheerleader too. Me and another team mom is making personalized t-shirts for them to wear at cheer camp. I am making streamers for them to wear at practices. If you do ribbon scupltures you can make the moms cheerleader pins like the one shown in my etsy shop. Hope my ideas help

Football or competitive?

Either way I'd ask the coach first. They may be looking for someone to make their bows/spiritwear. Or you might have already paid for some stuff with your gear payment.

Hairbows, cheerbags, water bottle covers, shoepoms, spirit t-shirts, noisemakers or shakers for the games....etc. My daughter is a cheerleader also, & I have coached for 3 yrs now. Some of my girls moms made fans with their dds picure on it & embellished with glitter & buttons etc., to use on hot days (they were very cute).

I coach competiton cheerleading. and cheered for 18 years.
Hairbows, streamers, shirts with team name, spirit shakers (water bottle with glitter and beads inside) for games/competitions.

When my daughters started cheering last year, I made them both a new type of bow, streamer or whatever to wear on Friday's for pep rallys.

Have fun with it~~!!

THese are all great ideas. I just posted on another thread about my daughter. She is nine and is entering her sixth year of all star cheerleading. It's in our blood!

The only thing I would say is be careful not to use the gym logo on anything unless you have permission. Our gym has a specific company that has the rights to their logo. They always give permission to teams to have items made with the logo, but some owners are very particular about this.

Cheer moms love stuff with team names and their kids' names on them! And my husband is the greatest cheer dad ever! I think Dad's are overlooked a lot. Here is a pic of him and our daughter last year:

I love his t-shirt. I'd like to see someone tell a Ravens linebacker that real men don't wear purple. Purple is BIG in B-more.

DD did competitve cheer last year. We couldn't afford it this year with the new baby. However I plan on taking her back next year. Most of the dad's at our gym were really involved, one of the teams even had a team dad instead of a team mom.
As far as things to match. I made wipe cases for all the girls on my team. Baby wipes are a great way to remove make up and cost a lot less the those make up removing wipes you can find. I made them to match their gym bags. If I had an embroidery machine I would have put their names on them but I didn't. All the moms loved them. I'll post pics as soon as I find it.

Thank you Claire. He is so proud. Here is another idea:

I don't know if any other dads would be brave enough to wear it but it matched the team's bows.
