Went to JoAnns today, no such thing as a silicone tape out of fabric. The employee asked me about what I needed it for and such. She suggested putting the silicone on fabric and then glue the fabric to the clip.
Is hers on a fabric? Anyone tried this?

The one on those clips is not Carpet tape. It's silicone (or similar product) lined fabric-type tape. (wow, that description was clear as mud!)
