Default Baking ribbon question

Hi! I'm new here, and I'm very curious as to how to stop this problem i've been facing with my korker bows. Some bows have colored details printed them. When baking them, the colors turn darker (I've found white turns brown). Am I doing something wrong? Please advise.

Thank you!

Your dowels are probably bleeding onto them. Use the lightest wood you can find and don't wet it at all, or it will bleed.
