Default HomeMade Febreeze..........

Lately I have been paying more attention to what ingredients are in my favorite products. The more you read the more scary it gets. I LOVE my Lavender Vanilla Febreeze. It is one of my all time favorite scents, but after looking at what it's made of, well let's just say I probably won't be buying it anymore (this stuff is crazy expensive for what it is too!)

I found a few recipes to make your own febreeze, one included using small amounts of liquid fabric softener, baking soda & water, which would work, but I opted to go with something else.

3 ingredients

Water
Vinegar
Essential Oil of your choice.

The "recipe" is on my blog.

This will give you a light fresh scent, not a heavy perfumed smell. It doesn't contain the chemicals that hold the fragrance in the air. When I first sprayed it I could smell the vinegar, but it didn't linger at all. It will take me a while to get used to the lighter more natural smells, but I feel good knowing that this is more natural, and let's not overlook that it is also extremely Cheap

Since you are mixing vinegar and a small amount of oil, make sure you give it a shake before each use.
