Rhinestone mesh, E6000 glue. Regular rhinestone designs, use hotfix stones and heat press on or I guess you could use a wand or even glue them down. Not sure exactly what you are referring to for vinyl but I cut t-shirt vinyl with my cutter and heat press it on. It comes in several colors, including glitter flake and also metallic, holographic, etc. I create my design in my software program and send it to the cutter, it cuts out and I apply it to the ribbon with a heat press. For some of the rhinestone looks I've been getting requests for, I've found out that people are actually applying rhinestones to the bow ribbon or lycra/spandex itself with a press and template, not actually rhinestone mesh - before assembling the bow. That is, if you are talking about the bows that look like they are polka dotted all over in beautiful rhinestones. That's usually the requests I'm getting now. I don't have anyway to make a template for rhinestones or anything hot enough other then my iron to do these kinds of presses, but I do love the look! From what I understand, the silhouette cameo can cut out a rhinestone template, and you can get rhinestones to brush on from The Rhinestone World (they have amazing how to videos on youtube) then you'd need something to press them on to the bow itself. I'm hoping to get a cheap press on day myself. keeping up with this bow stuff is crazy at times! It's fun though ![]() |

you can buy the bow templates already cut out for you. one place is rhinestonetemplates.com. You can even ask for a custom template in a particular pattern if you want. then like you mentioned, you can buy rhinestones in bulk at many places including the site I just mentioned. The stones are very easy to brush in, you just buy a paint trim brush, lay your template on a cookie sheet, pour some stones on it, and gently sweep them in the holes. You will also need transfer tape to lift the stones out of the template and lay on your bow. Then, you just iron right on top of the transfer tape. Although its not really endorsed to use a home iron to press the hotfix stones on, they can be done with a regular ole iron turned up to the highest heat, no steam. you just have to be careful and test how much time you will need on some small samples first since your iron doesn't give you a temperature and they are all different. Don't be fooled into thinking you can't do this on a minimal budget. Buying a template is around 20-25 bucks average so it is possible to add this look to your home bow business ![]() |

I hear a lot of people say they use E6000 for rhinestone mesh but what's the best way to do it when you're doing a full rhinestone mesh bow? Mine didn't turn out so well .. ![]() |

I have only done a few because I prefer the look of regular rhinestones but when I did it, I used the E6000 that is specifically packaged for jewelry as it comes packaged with tips that dispense the glue in a more fine bead so I run that glue along the edges and a few spots throughout the middle.

As usual, the Rhinestones would be iron on the fabric with the heat press machine. But if you wanna make cheer bows with rhinestone mesh, you can iron the rhinestone on the ribbon firstly then use it to make cheer bows. Or you can use glue, which is time consuming.
