Default Cheer Bow How to

I want to buy sequins fabric, and make a cheer bow
After cutting the fabric in three inch strips do
I sew it to gross grain

Next question how do you keep the raw edges from raveling

I see where some people put wonder under on the fabric. I don't want to take the time to do that. I want to sew it to the ribbon

I have searched on you tube and can not find a video.

To be honest, Heat-N-Bond would be quicker than sewing it on. If you were to sew it, you would have to be very careful to have super straight lines. Heat-n-Bond is very simple to use and is super fast. It's also going to take care of most if not all fraying.

I agree with Kimberly 100%. Not only will sewing take more time, and will not stop the fraying of the fabric, you will probably have to iron the ribbon afterwards. Sewing to grosgrain ribbon tends to make it pucker. The only way to straighten out the ribbon afterward is to iron it.

Might as well iron the first time and take care of it all at once. Wonder under works great and I find the ribbon is not as stiff as when I have used heat n bond.
