Default Rhinestones on bows?

Is it possible to do rhinestones on grosgrain? If yes, what is the best way to make sure they stay on?

I don't have a heat press. I have a hot fix tool and an iron. Any opinions on which of those would be better?

I am not sending the bows off. They are for my daughter's squad-only 12 bows. I can fix them if they fall off, but I would prefer not to have to.

Thanks for your help! Your bows are gorgeous!

I would say iron to make sure the surface is heated enough (high enough temp). My sister's hot fix tool doesn't always have the same results.

Good Luck

I have used an iron before but that requires patience. You have to get the iron as hot as possible. NO STEAM! use a tafflon sheet or paper towel will work too. Place the paper towel/tafflon sheet over the stones and press the iron down on top of it. Do not rub the iron around....just place on top making sure the area of the transfer is fully covered and apply as much pressure for at least 30 seconds. let cool, remove the transfer tape and repeat. This should get you through 12 bows and the stones should be permanent and not fall off. Good Luck!
