Default grosgrain under gold

What color of grosgrain do you all use under the gold sequin fabric? I was debating on using a darker yellow/gold but wasn't sure if that would look right... Thanks!

Black or white should work and I am sure either would be included in the school colors

If I were to make a bow using metallic gold sequin dot fabric and I wanted it to look like it didn't have a different color underneath the fabric, I would use the color oatmeal. It is most similar I believe.

Thanks, guys! For some reason I didn't get a notification that there was a response here. I'm doing multiple layers and I wanted the gold to look like another layer. The colors are navy, white, and gold. I ordered a gold grosgrain, hoping it will work out ok.

It depends on the shade of gold you are trying to achieve. If you want a metallic gold look, wheat, oatmeal or beige work nice. If you are going for a yellow gold, gold or yellow gold grosgrain will work well.
