Default Hair Tie Brand?

Hey ladies,

What brand of hair ties have you found to be the most durable. I have had a coach contact me and let me know that one of the hair ties broke and she wanted a refund. What is your policy on this? Thanks!

I stick with the Goody ouchless for all pony o's but even those you have to watch because there can be the odd bad batch that don't last long.

I never guarantee the life of a hair tie. I provide instructions with my bows that the hair tie is used to hold the bow only. I will replace a hair tie for a fee, but they are never guaranteed.

I also use Goody!

I also let my customers know that if the hair tie breaks, it can be tied into the hair as well. I also make sure to put the hair tie where it is seamed together facing out so they can tell where it is.

Why are you wanting to know our policy on hair ties? What is your policy? Do you guarantee your products? It's a hair tie - replace it for good customer service OR don't for word of mouth to spread your products are cheap!

Gee, that seems a little harsh. Everyone starts out somewhere and we all look to more experienced sellers for pointers. Just because the band broke doesn't mean her products are cheap. My daughter has extremely thick hair and we purchase the most expensive ponytail holders for her hair but they just don't last long because they need to stretch too far.

To the original poster: I would let the coach know that you can replace the ponytail holder for a fee but not a refund.

Wow, I agree with you Kim! What's with the hostility. It is a how-to forum. I make bows and sell. If I don't wish to give away a secret I simply don't respond. There is no need to make anyone feel unwelcome for asking a simple question.

My response to the original poster's question is above. Hope I helped! Good Luck!

Seeing that this is a website forum for advice on things I was just being curious. I don't feel like my products are cheap and I have very commendable customer service. Why so negative, we are all just trying to help each other out and I have done my share on giving advice too. We don't need your negative vibe here.

For all the ladies that responded, thank you. I use the same brand.
