Default Anyone want to help me out

Hi ladies,

Ive been making my daugters bows for many years now. Well now shes old enough to cheer for Pop Warner and well she cant wear any bows with metal barrettes or clips, so basically she cant wear any bows ive made her . Looks like im venturing out to Cheer bows now. I dont really know squat about cheer bows. ive been googling for a few days now and this is what i got so far. Use fabric like sequin fabric or mystique. Cut with rotary cutter. Fuse with heat n bond. I dont sew so i guess i would use the zip ties. Other than that.. all i see is amazing bows with layers and crystals anyone wish to point me in a good direction for some good tuts? Also im really only making these for my daughter so can i literally buy the smallest amout of fabric from like joanns... do they even carry either of these fabrics? TIA

Welcome to the cheer bow club! The tutorial mentioned above is a great way to get started. Joanne has a big selection of sequins and a small selection of mystique, but enought to get you started. I don't have HL, so can't comment on their offerings.
Good luck!

Most cheer bows use either 2.25" or 3" grosgrain, so you can sew them together too!
