This material still flaked off and the glitter got everywhere. It was pretty stiff to work with once it was on the grosgrain. It was also difficult to press anything after using that material, meaning that if you over heat it on your heat press it will pick up onto your teflon sheet and put weird little wholes of nothing on the grosgrain.

The second is:

I did some worlds bows with this material and it worked pretty well, it is pretty stiff though. I liked this one better then the above one!

One thing to note, if you don't have a heat press it is not recommended that you use this material. It is normally used to put lettering and different images on heat press tshirts and the like.

I plan to use it for logos and will play around with it other ways and let you know! Thanks!
I have also used the heat transfer glitter vinyl you have linked to above, but that is not what the other bow companies mentioned have used that I am looking for.

A friend actually gave me one of the bows to repair from one of the bow companies mentioned, so I was able to see that it is fabric, and that bow maker actually used double sided tape to attach it to the ribbon. It is glitter on one side and a white woven fabric look on the other.

The search continues.... LOL

another iron-on, but this one is only $16/ yard and comes in 24 fabulous colors. Haven't used it- I have a silhouette and gliiters are notoriously hard on it. should work without a hitch in a BigShot tho, which I want. Maybe an excuse to expand my crafting hardware department, heh.

I am going to order it even at $40.00 and try it. I will let you guys know how it goes. When you factor in the time and money of putting it on heat n bond it isn't a horrible price.

One of my former cheerleaders ordered a glitter-fabric bow from a vendor for college try-outs recently and I got to examine it afterward (sadly because it didn't withstand the workshop). I saw exactly what you're talking about, double-sided tape and all. If it is in fact vinyl, and you should use a heat press? Is the method the same as say a tee-shirt?

The search continues indeed LOL...

Is it OK to post pic of it?

The material I am referring to is definitely not tulle...tulle is very lightweight and sheer, this was a thick fabric with a whitish woven backing and sparkle on the top, it was not vinyl. I have ordered glitter vinyl, but it is fairly thick and I did not like the way it folded or looked as a bow. I also have found what I "think" is the actual material, but can only order it from overseas, which I think is what that bow company was doing. They do a high volume of sales at comps, so most likely can order in the larger qty that make the overseas shipments economical. Unfortunately the ones I saw were made for the quantity, definitely not the quality :-(

Definitely sounds pricey. How much was it? Would anyone be interested in sharing the costs? Something to consider...

I would be without a doubt! If the cost per yard wasn't bad doing a group buy I think might be a good deal
