Boutique twisted bow

I have become determined to figure out this bow. I have a 100 yard spool of ribbon that I am using & am praying that I have some left by time I figure it out. I have been trying to use a bowmaker & also by hand & they all look like crap!! The only thing I am findind is that they look a little better if I sew them instead of tying them. So After burning through about 10 yards of ribbon I decided to stop for the night & work on some pinwheel bows (which look great).

I have had the same problem. Sooner or later I just gave up and went on to the koker bow..soo easy!!!
I have heard that once you mastered the boutique bow everything else just falls into place..I am still working on the darn thing! I tried the bow maker..took it back..and doing it by hand. I too have found that sewing is easier than tying. Excuse me..but those bows make me feel like a ribbon retard!!! Give it time..we will get it!!! Good luck! |
