I am so with you on this. I tried one day in the car for about 3 hours & still looked like crap. I started again today. I am using the cheating method & finally got 1 bow that looks right. I decided that since I kept losing it before I could get it folded that I was going to try a dab of hot glue. I started with putting a tiny dab of glue on the ends to keep them together then I put that on my middle mark & added another dab of glue. As I was pulling my sides in I added another dab of glue there too. There is barely any glue on each of these places, just enough to keep things where I want them. The 1st time I tried this with the glue in all 4 places I made a beautiful bow. I was so excited & my husband looked at me like I had 3 heads. He doesn't understand how many "bows" (and I use that term loosely) I have tried & thrown away. I have probably used at least 50 yeard of ribbon.
I am going to take a picture of this one & post it.
It is worth it to give it a try.
