but it says it only works in natural fibers (and it includes salt!)
I also found this info interesting: http://www.pburch.net/dyeing/FAQ/settingdye.shtml
which says salt will prevent the fabric from repelling the dye.
I wonder if salt in with your vinegar/ water mixture would decrease risk for color transfer...
