Aren't boutique bows more 'sticky uppy' due to the way the loops are formed and the angles they go into the middle of the bow?
The way the ribbon is coming out of the middle of that one, it looks like a flat bow made from an 'X' of super-simple loops to me. It's really easy, yet rather effective with striped ribbon like the example.
Just take two lengths of ribbon and glue the ends on top of one another to make them into circles, like if you were making a bar bow. Then flatten them out and glue on top of one another so that the edges of the loops are in a fairly flat 'X' - more like '><'. Make your folds down the middle from top to bottom and you should be good to go.
