also as my ribbon runs out i cut a small piece of it and put it in a separate baggie so when i need to buy it i know exactly what width and color i need to get!
Those are both great ideas! I love the scrap pieces as a reminder of what to buy! We do this with color boxes at work, when we use a tube of color, we tear off the tab on the box that has the color name wrote on it so we can order more. Never thought of doing that for ribbon!
