There are several types of daylight bulbs and they have varying temperatures. You know how if you take a picture next to a regular lamp it's too yellow? The opposite happens with the daylight bulbs and its too blue.
An ideal bulb temp is between 5,000-7,000. Even then you may get some blue hues but after that it really gives a blue tint.
It should say the temp on the box of the light bulb.
At first I thought it may have been the lights, they are about 6500 a believe (lowest I could find locally but still in that range). I tried outdoors, regular indoor lighting and flash but nothing.
I also tried adjusting the white balance on my camera and apparently I can only use premade settings on the camera. I guess this just means that I have another excuse to spend $800 on the canon rebel t2i that I really want. Too bad a have a million other things to save for/buy first.
I guess I just wont be making/buying anything purple! lol
