I had red ribbon with white hearts on it, when I baked starched and all that the white hearts turned pink..I really think it might have something to do with the dyes in the actual ribbon...what I did to fix my issue like this is I. Turned my heat way down, extended the cooking time, and starched a heck of a lot more! And I use heavy heavy starch lol...I hope this helps!!
