Wink Styles of bows

Well, it's me again asking more questions from the experts. I can make several styles of bows, like the twisted, the boutique, pinwheel, but I never know what styles to use when making layered or stacked bows. Mine never stand up poofy like the ones I see in pictures, when I add spikes the bow just ends up looking like a giant flat spider ready to attack. And after I make a bow, except for ones with the tails, I have a hard time figuring out which is the front and which is the back of my bow. I am still trying to figure out how to post pics but honestly I think you would be scared for life if you saw my bows!
Anybody out there for hire for a day, or week, of one on one instruction? Thanks so much again for any help/suggestions.
