Do you starch them? I find that for me it's easier if I starch mine then bake it for just a little bit. Then take it out and shape it. Starch it again and then put it back in the oven for longer. It seems to work better for me. I'm like you. If I don't starch mine and leave it. It looks great when I complete it, but then when I come back later to look it looks awful. HTH.
