Default Re: Ribbon/fabric Burp Cloths

Leslie, I pm'd you. Let me know if you didn't get it as it was the first pm I have sent on this forum.

To answer the question about putting anything between the layers of the fabric on the burp cloths.... yes, I do. I put a layer of double sided flannel. I prewash all of my fabrics so they are all preshrunk and the flannel is a good quality thick flannel. I have entertained the idea of putting cotton batting between the layers but was worried that it may clump with repeated washings since I would not be quilting it or tacking it down. My oldest son was a very spitty baby and I loved having these around. They were cute yet functional. With my second son, I was more comfortable nursing in public and would use it as a nursing cover. He would pull a blanket off but he left the burp cloth alone.

These are just great. Every time myself or someone gives one of my of the burp cloth sets at a baby shower I usually get at least one order for a set
