I use a Tempered Glass Candle dish... its square not too big. regular glass has a nasty habit of shatering if it gets suddenly too hot and the woodburner if left touching regular glass for a period time can cause it to shatter if a sudden temp change happened. Temperglass is stronger than regular glass.

I got mine at hobby lobby in the Candle section it was $6.00 then you could use the coupon an make it less.

the cool thing about it it is clear... I can tape different measurements to the bottom for different types of covers...Ex: clippie liners, French clip liner pieces then I can line up and cut...
