Patricia- I think a lot of folks get discouraged and quit too soon. There are veterans who have done this 20 years- they really know how to work the system. I was next to a guy at a show two weeks ago- if he did anything less than 10,000 (10 day show), I would be VERY surprised. I would bet he made more than 15,000. I don't get it, but that man could sell the heck outta anything. You better believe I made him my new best friend. Why? Because he was nice, helpful, and really had a knack. I have truly never seen anyone like him before.
So, anyhow, I'm glad you appreciated the post. I don't think craft shows are ever going to make anyone a ton of money (unless they are Frank- guy mentioned above). But most of us are just wanting to make something extra for our family. You know?
