| | DESPERATE help needed for machine applique
I was wondering if someone who does machine embroidery could please please help me. I need to make 15 applique tie onsies tonight. Normally I use my embroidery machine and make these directly onto the onsies. However, my boutique has requested me to make them iron on instead. I have no idea how to go about doing this. I tried using a material and stabilizer but when I cut it out you can see the base material. So then I tried doing the design directly onto the stabilizer itself so that I could just tear away the stabilizer. This was great except because my stabilizer was white and my stitches were black, you could see a little bit of the white edge. I have sent hubby to the store to get black stablizer. However, all they have is black cut away. If I do my design directly onto the black cut away, will it work without seeing to much of it when I cut it out? I am in a mad panic so if you could help I would so appreciate it. If I'm way off base, is there a better way to do it?
