Okay, I can't find the question in the original thread so I could verify that she said back but I thought she did. Anyway, regardless it works better when tied off in the back as evidenced by my bows. After 2 years of making bows, I am finally proud of my twisted boutique bows. Many hours of frustration and practice had been in vain b/c I was doing one simple thing wrong all this time. I hope this small tip helps someone else too.
