I agree, to a non- smoker, like myself, my nose is very sensitive to cigarette smoke. But i know with alot of oders as well as smoke and pet smells, i am a firm believer in febreeze . Just a spritz of it on fabric can actually remove the odor instead of just masking it, so you may try that. Also, with some ribbons, you can wash them with soap and water and lay them flat to dry or air dry them and it will take it out as well.. just some suggestions, hope that helps.
