I wrap headbands all the time and they are one of my favorite things to make. I use 3/8" ribbon and wrap 3/8", 3/4" tapers and 5/8" plastic headbands. The key, I have found, is not to overlap at all. That makes them bunch up on the down side of the headband. I just hold it really tight and make sure the ribbon is lined up and at an angle the whole way around. Oh, I also use double sided tape on the inside to help hold it as I am wrapping. I never have a problem. I posted a mini tutorial on here (just a few pics) of me starting and ending the headbands, but I couldn't find it!! Sorry! Anyhow, I hope what I have said helps. Good luck!
