Default Re: What am I doing wrong with my lightbox

What kind of camera are you using?

As a photographer.. shooting with a lightbox, you really should not have to do any tweaking really to the photo.. That being said, most people dont have traditional lightboxes.. based off what I ahve read..

If you are using a DSLR.. you need a lower shutter speed, a higher iso, or a Higher aperture (lower f number)

I would also recommend lining the outsides like others said with the lights.. the tissue paper and liners are used to diffuse the light and wrap it around the products so as not to cast shadows tooo dramatically...

Do you have a lightbulb supply store? I would suggest maybe picking up two higher wattage bulbs that are DAYLIGHT bulbs.. not your typical standard bulb which can cast odd colors onto your background.. (this will help if you can not figure out how to adjust your white balance in the camera)
