Creasing is the hardest part of the process, for me. If you can Squeeze/ fold the center of the bow like "an accordian fold," with 2 "humps" at the front of the bow and 3 at the back, you'll be amazed at what a difference it makes.
Too, the bow in the picture looks like it's made of 7/8's ribbon; and that it's made large. UGH... hard to explain... maybe the surrounds are made for a 4 in bow and the twisted bow is made as a 4 1/2 or 5 in bow, then artfully tucked in the surrounds. IDK, but I sure am going to try it... maybe my toddler will let me have a minute for crafting sometime in the next 10 years!!
