I'm not a specialist...But I think what I would try is to bake item first...then after its cooled I would use a modge podge or some other sort of sealer--probably a satin and not a gloss...and brush a thick layer on your your beads in a shallow small dish with raised sides and *dredge* if you will the item in the beads to get them to adhere to sealer and then when item is covered I would let it dry and then possible use some sort of sealer on the top to prevent beads from coming of....possibly some sort of spray so there is less possiblility of the beads coming off . Does that make sense?
