I don't wet them. I do 225 for 20 mins, everyone's oven is different though so do a tester. My oven is gas and tends to run hot.

The baking "melts" the polyester ribbon into the shape so it's permanent. I can crush it and it bounces back to the shape. I only do this for twisted boutique bows and it works great for spikes. Printed ribbon or dot ribbon you'll want to do a test strip to see if the colors are going to bleed.

Stacked bows can be floppy depending on the ribbon you're using.

Don't use any glue. You have to have tied or sewn together each layer, lay on foil or cookie sheet separately. I always let mine cool totally before stacking them.
