I've tried the shoe goo, so far, so good. I just posted on another thread, but here's a quick recap:

it's stinky, and it starts to set quickly, like hot glue, but not super fast. It will peel back off if you wait too long. It seemed easiest to put it on the ribbon, I think it makes less mess that way. I then smoothed it out, and put it on the shoe. It dried nice and strong, and I have bent the back strap on the flip flop (toddler ones) over and over and there's no sign of it coming off. I made the shoes monday.


Oh and it takes 24-72 hours to cure to maximum adhesion.
