Default Another flip flop question!

So I am in the process of making myself some flip flops, I used heat and bond to hold the DRR and the GR together, it seemed great and really stuck together, then when I was clipping the flower on the end, the GR popped off the DRR?? How can I fix this? Should I just try to put some E6000 on it or can I hold the iron over it for a few seconds again? I've already glued the DRR to the flip flop.

Also do you E6000 your rhinestones in the middle or use hotglue? I'm using Swarovski, not acrylic. I'm just curious about it melting in the Texas summer!
