1. Flip it over, that is technically the back.
2. Look at the top of the crease. Do you see how the right loop (right by the crease) is kind of slightly folded back? And the top of left loop (right by the crease) is not? That will make a difference in shaping. Neither is right or wrong, you just want symmetry to make the bow look finished.
I need clafication here. I'm boutique bow illiterate! So this picture of the bow OP is showing us is the back? So she needs to flop it over and use the other side as the front? Because if that is the case I'm doing it all wrong. I made a stacked bow and what OP is showing was my 1st bottom bow and I used that side she is showing in the pic as the front.
