It takes a while for E6000 to dry. I usually put it on both sides I am gluing let it sit a few minutes to get tacky (maybe 1-3) I'm not always very patient. Then I put them together hold them a few minutes...try not to wiggle them...clip them with a clothes pin if you can. That is if they will stay nice and flat and even...if the clothes pin makes it "tip" or come loose don't do it, you want it to stay as flat and have as much contact as possible. I like to let it sit at least 12 hours if possible. Do not try to keep seeing if it is dry...you will break the bond. That is not a good thing.
