I don't sew my korkers, I tie them. SO, I tie the first knot, then cross the strings back to the other side and tie another knot. Then I tie the string around the pony o and knot. Then, I take a thin coordinating ribbon 1/8 or 1/4 and cover my string with that, and glue it around the pony-o the same way I would glue a center knot around a clip for a bow.
