I actually think that stiff ribbon is easier because it holds shape better once you have the bow made
I have never baked or starched my bows, but since I just made a TON of twisted boutiques and some of them were with ribbon that wasn't "stiff" I am going to try baking them to see if they will hold shape better.
The only reason I have talked myself into baking is because I got some really cute pink flower with silver background ribbon, it is shiny
, but very stiff. I didn't think I was going to like it once I felt how stiff it was. BUT I actually LOVE the way the bow holds the shape.
