Default How do you spell "clippie"?

On my personal Facebook page my friends have lovingly dubbed me as the grammar police and the spelling bee that stings, but I have a confession to make. I'm fully aware that I have been misspelling "clippie" when I write a description of my items. No one has called me out on it, but it's just a matter of time. I think they are waiting for that special moment to zing me for all the times I've corrected their grammar and spelling. When I describe a clip I've made I ALWAYS spell "clippie" with an -ie and not a -y on the end. I see lots of people that spell it in singular form with the -ie on the end. I just love the way the -ie looks; isn't that silly? I can't seem to let -y have its moment.

How do you spell "clippie/clippy"?

PS ~ If I made any grammar or spelling mistakes in the post, it's not my fault. Um...the sun was in my eyes? Yeah, that's it; the sun was in my eyes.
