I bake mine at 275 for 25-30 minutes. I don't use starch. You may want to increase heat and time....but keep an eye on it. Everyones oven is different.
Also, make sure you are wrapping them tightly. The tighter you wrap the tighter the kork.
I cook mine longer as well!
I don't use any starch or anything either...
Mine sometimes are too tight/stiff. (sometimes i loose track of time and cook too long!
