Default My tips for cheer bows

I have noticed a lot of people on here have had questions about makeing cheerbows thought I would share some of what I do... I want to say I personally have not bought any cheerbow instructions , sure they are filled with lots of great tips & wonderful things!!!!! with that said, I just want to share some of what I do...
* I mark the center on the ribbon then 7" 0r 8" from the center depending on how big you want your loops.
*I use 30" of 2 1/4 inch ribbon with the next layer being 1 1/2 (or 7/8" for just a thin stripe).
*I layer the bows with heat n bond (i use red lable). I cut the heat n bond in thin strips...then i iron on a hot setting (no steam!) then I peal it off and add the second layer and iron it on.
*Then I match the centers together whiel its still warm to get a tight center (no metal allowed for schools and compitions), then secure the center how you normally do. hope this helps let me know if you have any questions
