This way takes longer, but for me it's the only way to get perfectly straight v cuts. Fold the ribbon in half lengthwise and press with fingers to crease it. Then lay it flat on your working surface and use the fold line as a guide. Place your metal ruler at an angle and use your woodburner to make a cut from the center (where the fold line is) to the outside of the ribbon. Then move the ruler to make the second cut from the fold line to the opposite side of the ribbon. Hope that makes sense, because it's hard to explain without pictures. LOL
