Hmmmm....maybe a lower temp. I usually bake mine at 250...maybe lowering it to 200 will help.

I wonder is some people just wrap the ribbon around the dowl rod, then spray several times with stiffen stuff. I'm not sure that would be stiff enough to hold it...
